The film adaptation of the novel by John Lindqvist Ajvide we have seen yesterday on DVD.
A vampire movie that was so different than the usual films of this genre. No Dracula or Lestat, the beautiful women sucking the blood. And certainly not glittering in the sun Edward Cullen.
zwöldjähriges Eli is a girl. In any case, believes that his contemporary Oscar, as she moves in with her "father" in the same house.

When Eli finds out that Oskar from his school friends Connie and his friends being bullied, they invite him to fight back violently against the harassment of his classmates and assured him that she could protect them. Skating proposes Oskar Connie finally settled when he teases him again.
Håkans next catastrophic foray goes wrong: When he was in the locker of a gym is about to cut his victim's throat, threatening witnesses doors and windows break. Håkan makes itself defaced with a jar and acid to protect Eli. In the same night Eli Håkan visited the hospital on the seventh floor. They freed him from his suffering by drinking his blood. He then rushes out of the window and broke his neck.
Oskar finally learns of Eli's true nature, but can not leave of his love for her and decides to help her continue. And that loyalty is sorely needed soon: A neighbor finds out Elis identity and how they develop in their apartment in order to punish them for the death of his loved ones, Eli has attacked and destroyed. Oskar distract him, however, Eli will then be monitored and kills coatings. Since paint forced disappearance investigations with it prefers to move on and they have Eli and Oskar say goodbye. Shortly after, do Connie and his older brother Oscar reward defense. They force Oskar in the school pool under water, but it appears Eli, Oskar's tormentors and kill him save the lives.
Finally leave Oskar and Eli together by train to City. Admittedly, a rather unusual film of the genre, but still good. And even without much action have very well told.
